Feed and boiler water have to meet labor contracts, to operate steam boilers on a secure and free of failure level. These applications are defined by the following factors:

• Construction of the boiler
• Pressure during usage
• Operating conditions of the boiler

In all cases, the feed and boiler water has to fulfill the conditions, to be clear, colorless and free of particulate materials. To prevent corrosion a condition of the water is necessary, also a scaleinhibitor should be used.
